About Us: Our All-Natural Legacy
What we do: We develop and manufacture naturally-efficient solutions to indoor rodent and odor control for farm, home, RV, auto, and industrial use. Our products offer consumers choices that are safer and more effective than their toxic counterparts.
Our mission: Since we began in 1993 we have strived to create natural, safe and effective products that are kind to the earth, kind to the people who make them, and kind to the pocketbook.
What makes us different: Our proprietary products are each unique to the marketplace. We are grateful to state that all of our Patents, Federal EPA registrations, recognitions, and third party endorsements have been awarded to us based upon a proven track record of quality, innovation, and efficient product design.
Each of our products are designed to deliver the built-in efficiencies of nature, be easy-to-use, and environmentally friendly packaging.
Each product is third party verified for safety/efficacy before it is introduced to the market. As a manufacturer, we are always concerned with what social contributions we can make to our community.
Together we feel that this adds up to great business, positive market change, and loyal customers – all with out burden to the environment or society.
How we began: My family could not find fresh organic produce, so I started growing it. In a short time, it was being sold to chefs, friends, and grocers. Soon after, there was a demand for scented products, like potpourri, that were made with essential oils rather than chemicals for the educated customers, so I began growing flowers and crafting aromas to package.
Within about a year we had 250 gift shops selling our beautiful and pleasant potpourri blends. The next challenge for me was to create a non-toxic method to control mice on the family farm.
I was unsatisfied with moth balls, or poisons for traps, which were all that were being offered. I didn't want to kill mice, I just wanted to keep them out from the start - so, I invented Fresh Cab. It was an instant hit with farmers (who have big mice problems) and within a few years , my business Crane Creek Gardens, began to grow, prosper and hire employees.
Today, years later, a lot has changed, but you can still see the same passion for natural and efficient solutions alive in the new products we continue to develop, in the way we source our raw materials, our packaging, the
way we manufacture, our distribution, and finally how our products end their life cycle.
It's a holistic approach to business that considers every input and every output to insure that our customers are given the safest and most efficient solution to their problems. It's just a smart way to do business. Many call it 'green' these days, but we just call it doing our job the best we can.
I welcome you to try our products, and spend some time on our site. We have been around for 16 years and have developed quite a community of friends and customers. You might find their stories on the blog interesting, inspiring, or even useful for your business or dream.
We also have a link to useful newsletters written by Kari. If you are a retailer or a fellow entrepreneur with your own proprietary products, you will be sure to find some really interesting information not available anywhere else. Lastly, if you have any questions of me, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail. I would be happy to receive your comments!
